- 02
Plug in
Park in a charging bay, connect the cable to your vehicle and follow the prompts on the charger screen.
- 03
Start & pay
Tap a contactless card or use the Luviq app or RFID card. The price per kWh is shown before charging begins.

FAQs
Common questions.
How do I start a charge?
Plug in, then tap a contactless bank card or mobile wallet at the charger, or start the session from the Luviq app or an RFID card. The screen guides you through each step.
How much does it cost?
The maximum price in pence per kWh is shown clearly on the charger and on the location page before you start. There is no connection or subscription fee to charge on a pay-as-you-go basis.
Which connectors are supported?
Rapid and ultra-rapid chargers use CCS (and CHAdeMO at selected sites). Fast chargers use a Type 2 socket. Each location page lists the connectors available at that site.
What if a charger isn't working?
Call the 24/7 driver helpline shown on the charger and on our contact page, or email our faults address. We monitor the network continuously and aim to get chargers back in service quickly.
Are the chargers accessible?
We design sites with accessibility in mind, and each location page notes accessibility information such as bay type and approach. Tell us if you have specific access needs and we will do our best to help.
Can I use a roaming card or app?
Yes. Alongside contactless and the Luviq app, the public network is available through third-party roaming providers, so you can charge with the account you already use.
